Reflection Questions:
- What has brought you here to this course on healing from spiritual abuse? Do you bear your own stories? Are you here on behalf of someone else? Maybe it’s both or something else entirely, but take a moment to write down a few of the reasons you’re here. What are you most hoping for?
Confronting abuse, in any form, is painful and risky work.
- What are you most afraid of as you anticipate moving forward? And what are you most curious about?
Because spiritual abuse disrupts and disorders our capacity for trust (of self, others and God), we talk about the importance of being anchored to a memory of goodness as a reminder that you do have inherent wisdom and discernment to hold onto, even if small.
- What memory of goodness will you be taking with you as you journey through this course?
